Blue Amp Studio

Blue Amp Studio is a writing and recording project studio that can record up to 128 audio tracks and 512 instrument tracks using the industry standard DAW, Pro Tools.

As a musician with over 30 years of writing, producing and recording I understand what muscians are looking for from a recording session. My approach to engineering is from a musicians perspective aiming to capture the vibe, energy and passion that the artist has invested both in the writing and the performance of the material.

Recording a song is not just a technical exercise, although good engineering skills are certainly required to ensure a flawless recording of the performance, it is more about taking the artists idea, the emotion and the energy and crafting it into a polished and commercially releasable product.

We would like to think we offer a homely and friendly atmosphere creating a relaxed environment in order to allow you to achieve the best performance during recording sessions. We try to help you leave your stress at the door and get you in the mood to be creative and to enjoy the whole experience, and if that doesn't work then there is always the village pub next door with open fires, good ale and steak pie to die for. They also have B & B rooms so if you need to stay during those longer sessions we can arrange accommodation for you.
